Inside this e-book, you will learn:

Importance of Connection

Your friend laughs at your joke. Your co-worker offers congratulations on landing that big account. Your spouse kisses you goodbye. These relationships all help you bust stress and boost happiness. Social connection not only improves psychological well-being, but it also improves your physical health.
One recent study showed that lack of social connection is a greater detriment to health than obesity, smoking and high blood pressure. Several studies regarding adverse traumatic events and PTSD show the same negative health outcomes. Conversely, strong social connection leads to a 50% increased chance of longevity.
Now, imagine being the griever, and feeling isolated and alone not only due to the death, but also because the ones closest to you feel awkward, are worried about saying the wrong thing or just avoid you completely.

Are you comfortable talking to someone who's lost a loved one to suicide?

If you are like most people, the answer is NO. Mental health and suicide have a negative stigma surrounding them and as a society we don’t discuss these very personal topics.
I’ve been in your shoes, afraid of saying all the wrong things too. But, that all changed when my husband died by suicide. I am NOW a suicide loss survivor myself! I am uniquely qualified to teach you from first hand experience how to confidently approach and support anyone left behind after a death by suicide.
No more hiding in the bread aisle of the grocery store because you don’t know what to say to the man whose son recently died by suicide.
Don’t wave, say hi, and mention the latest basketball game to the teenager who lost her dad to suicide. I promise you, that’s not what’s on her mind.
Ignoring this won’t make it go away… it only makes the awkwardness worse, and ultimately harder to resolve. The good news is that you’ve come to the right place!

This is where I come in:

I help brave, servant hearted leaders like you, come alongside and companion those left behind after a death by suicide. You will gain the Courage and Confidence to help them in their time of unspeakable grief!

Did you know personality styles and love languages play a huge role in how you support someone through their grieving process?

Success doesn’t happen by chance, it happens by choice. When you combine the right information and tools with precise implementation you get rapid transformation!
In life there are always going to be ups and downs. What if you could learn how to make the best of the up times —and minimize or make the down times easier? I have a formula that anyone, or any organization, can follow to achieve outstanding results.
As a DISC Certified Human Behavior Consultant and a Love Language enthusiast, we’ll dig deep to help you gain the skills to best use your unique talents and passion to help a griever who desperately needs you!
As an informed companion you have the ability to change a life forever because you took the time to understand grief and can apply it skillfully based upon the personality styles of everyone involved! That is an incredible GIFT!
I recently ran into Shawn at a burger joint in town. After talking a few minutes about his job, Shawn asked what I did. I gave him the short version, which included suicide grief. We went to our separate tables to eat our meals. Before he left, Shawn came to my table and said “I had no idea how much I needed to learn about loving and supporting people better through their grief. How do I sign up?”
I can help you achieve greater success, faster, and with fewer setbacks within the myriad of difficult challenges being the companion. BUT, don’t take my word for it… I will SHOW YOU the proven resources to transform not only your life; but the life of griever…forever. From on-site workshops to online courses, coaching, consulting and more, I create change from the inside out. I offer a wide variety of development and training programs built on timeless principles that get results.
